Hems
Note: Folded Hems and Picot Hems are basically the same technique. Both can be worked with either a standard or provisional cast on. The only difference is whether or not a row / round with yarn overs and decreases is worked. If one is worked, this creates the picot edge; without it, it’s a folded hem. A Sewn Hem is used when you are creating either a Folded or Picot Hem at the bind off edge rather than the cast on edge.
